Full Member – To become a Full Member through CISCM’s studies progression, after Level 3 certification, a candidate must undertake a professional thesis of 15,000 words which will be reviewed and approved by the Institute’s Certificate Awards Team.
Potential candidates with Supply Chain and/or related Master’s Degree or Full Membership from any related Professional Body or a proven person who have worked in Supply Chain related environment at Management level for not less than 15 years and above. Any of such potential candidates will also write Professional thesis covering Supply Chain or his/her work in the Chain for the number of years worked for the Institute’s Certificate Awards Team to review and approve.
Certification– Master CISCM (MCISCM)
SPECIALIST STREAM |
This is basically a research and implementation module: A candidate will either choose or will be allocated an industry or institution or company (entity) and research on a challenge that the organization or its agent has identified in relation to supply Chain.
The candidate will then review thoroughly the challenges in consultation with the identified Organization’s Management and come out with recommendations and steps to implement such recommendations to correct the challenge(s), these will be submitted to a joint panel of CISCM Subject Matter Expert(s), Senior Members or Member of the Studied Organization as may be preferred by the Organization and an Independent experienced Subject Matter Expert practicing the subject area for pre-implementation panel review; the candidate should be able to convince the panel for ‘NO OBJECTION’. The Candidate, if receives “NO OBJECTION” will thereafter lead the implementation of the findings, and after a successful outcome as per the agreed rollout cycle will be awarded a Specialist Certificate by the Council based on the panel recommendation. |

SUSTAINABLE KNOWLEDGE STREAM AND CERTIFICATION MAINTENANCE
Appropriate Continuous Development short courses are designed regularly for all levels to enhance the evolving knowledge and application for members and practitioners to deliver effectively for optimized value.
Every member is required to attend at least thrice every two years for maintenance of his/her level certificate.
Special projects relevant for Social Responsibility by members are evaluated by the Institute and rewarded appropriately.
Members are mandated to undertake at least a Social Responsible project per annum.
