Individuals who by their master’s degree are accepted as full members are supposed to use the
acronym (MCISCM)
Individual who join the association as students or register to show interest in what the institute does, can use the acronym (ACISCM). They can also be workers.
Individuals who have finished and passed all courses under level one, are entitled to use the acronym (CCISCM)
Individuals who have also finished and passed all courses under level two, are entitled to use the acronym (DCISCM)
Individuals who have also finished and passed all the courses under the final level that is level 3 are entitled to use the acronym. (PCCISCM).
Individuals promoted by council to the status of Fellow are also entitled to use the acronym (FCISCM)
METHOD OF PROGRESSION
- Master’s degree related shall automatically start as Full members (Chartered Members) after submitting a curriculum vitae, a CPD and all relevant certificates to the operations committee
- All individuals holding professional certificates will be given subject to subject exemptions as determined by the operations committee and the level for which they begin or start from, will also be determined by the operations committee
- All degree holders related will start from Level 3
- All HND graduates related will all start from Level 2
- All S. H. S graduates, O and A’ level holders as well as people who have worked in the area of SC for some years, without requisite qualification including individuals holding HND, degree and masters not related to the area of SC are supposed to do all the courses under the foundation level.
- For those whose master’s degree are not related they are supposed to submit the following to the operations committee;
- A business proposal on how to create entrepreneurs and businesses within the SCM environment. (Power Point Presentation in the midst of Council)
- A C.P.D
- A Curriculum Vitae
- Copies of all relevant certificates
Award of the membership certificate shall be determined by the operations committee
- Council shall recommend at any point in time promotion to the status of Fellowship. These may be individuals who have helped uplift the image of this institute. Outstanding performance and contribution shall be the hallmark of judgement.
